Summer Concert Series

We are pleased to announce that the Summer Concert Series “People in Plazas” will be performing Thursdays throughout the Summer in Two Embarcadero Center on Street Level between 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM.  Some of the best professional musicians in the Bay Area will be showcasing their talents.  This year’s program features musical performance ranging from Jazz to Swing to Mariachi. Equilibria

Equilibria is a San Francisco Bay Area group founded by guitarist Dave Ridnell which combines many of the musical styles he loves, including jazz, funk, R&B, and especially the Brazilian rhythms found in bossa nova and samba.  The group features a set of uniquely talented musicians, including Damien Masterson, recognized as one of "the best in the world" on the chromatic harmonica, David Kaffinetti of Spinal Tap fame on keyboards, and Brazilian percussionist extraordinaire Alex Calatayud..



 

Robin Campbell

Robin Campbell, a singer with flaming red hair from Half Moon Bay is best known locally for belting out sultry blues, dirty funk, originals and high energy rock favorites in local restaurants and clubs. She's been voted the coast's favorite by Coast Views Magazine, and has enjoyed performing in everything from a major commercial, the Giants game, to local favorite celebrations, such as the Pumpkin Festival in Half Moon Bay. The band - Montara resident Jeremy Foster on bass and El Granada residents Pete Amour on drums and Chris Cotruvo on guitar and vocals - has been together for six years. Expect to hear some Janis Joplin, Cold Blood, Led Zeppelin and Jamiroquai along with funky originals all in the same set.

The Ferry Building

With over 100 farmers and 30 artisan vendors setting up every week, you will find yourself immersed in a cornucopia of the freshest fruit, produce, baked goods, cheeses and prepared foods in town. The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market, operated by CUESA (Center for Urban Education about Sustainable Agriculture) features farmers such as Star Route, Heirloom Organics, and Eatwell for organic greens and Lagier for organic jams, almonds and cherries.

Tuesday: 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
